Historic Café
Caffè Elena is an integral part of Turin’s history. For over a century, it has been a place of encounter and culture, a landmark for generations of locals, students, and artists.
Its interiors, unchanged since the early 1900s with wooden paneling, mirrors, red breccia marble tables, and paintings by G.M. Bertagna, exude timeless charm. Within these walls, novelist, poet, and literary critic Cesare Pavese loved to linger, finding inspiration and quiet.

From Tradition to Innovation
Caffè Elena stands for tradition — but also for experimentation. Here, between 1889 and 1902, Giuseppe Carpano perfected the recipe for vermouth, creating an elixir that crossed national borders. Today, that same spirit of research continues in our cuisine and cocktails, blending the best of Piedmontese tradition with a contemporary touch.

A Sip of Turin’s History
To celebrate the 135th anniversary of Caffè Elena, we created our Vermouth Rosso. Artisanal and refined, it combines classic botanicals with notes of cardamom, ginger, and saffron, giving it a unique spicy character. Acacia flowers add a delicate floral essence and a smooth, enveloping texture. Discover it through tasting, in our signature cocktails, or in the great classics of mixology.
